R-Rated

Personal Project

R-Rated is my dive into the world of horror film visuals, packed into a 360-page art book that both celebrates and analyses the genre's unique style. As a horror enthusiast, I've always been intrigued by how these films use visuals to tackle taboo topics in unconventional ways.

I collected horror imagery and categorrised them by archetypes, symbols and horror subgenres. This was an exciting exercise of editorial design and data collection. I’m currently workinng onn self-publishing this project.

Skills: Editorial, Art Direction, Data Collection.

A series of digital illustrations collected under the Instagram page hey.haha.hoho. This project is my way of looking at the world through a humorous and ironic lens, often inspired by international cinema and female emancipation.

Meet Me In The Bathroom

Utopia Distribution

Meet Me In The Bathroom is a documentary that explores the New York musical scene in the early 2000s. Utopia Distribution commissioned Silk Factory to create the theatrical trailer. I was responsible to design and animate the title cards and the main title treatment of the trailer.

We initially approached this by working on a maximalist punk style that was inspired by Yeah Yeah Yeahs aesthetics. Under the client’s request, we then opted for a more minimal route inspired by the New York City metro design, keeping a cut-out animation style. The trailer was later awarded a Silver Promax in 2023.

Divinity

Utopia Distribution

This was without a doubt one of the most exciting and challenging projects of 2023. Divinity is a sci-fi dystopian feature film with striking black-and-white retro-futuristic aesthetics. Our goal was to compliment the incredible imagery and original title treatment with bold, memorable graphics and animations. We created kinetic typography that blended psychedelia with digital distortions.

Digital & OOH Campaigns

Lionsgate & Disney

I've had the privilege of contributing to major film and TV campaigns for Lionsgate and Disney, spanning across out-of-house (OOH), digital and print media. This series of work demanded meticulous attention to detail as I adapted, generated and managed a wide number of assets in different formats.

1. Indiana Jones - Disney
Amazon Fresh Bags featuring the key art

2. John Wick: Chapter 4 - Lionsgate
IMdB desktop and mobile takeover

3. Gaslit - Lionsgate+ (Starzplay)

International Women’s Day

Silk Factory

This was an initiative launched by the women of Silk Factory to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022. It was conceived, written and produced solely by the women of the office. The goal was to shine a light on the lack of diversity in the industry and celebrate women’s film professionals and their incredible achievements in 2022. This was later released on the company’s social media accounts.

It was an exciting opportunity as I worked on data visualisation in a playful way, which is something I’ve always been excited to explore.

Three Colours Trilogy

Curzon Film

Curzon Film contacted me to create an illustration to celebrate their theatrical and digital re-release of the Three Colours Trilogy by Krzysztof Kieślowski. I was given complete creative freedom, as the brief was to visually reinterpret these films as I pleased. I worked on multiple approaches. I initially worked on a digital collage using stills from the films. I then focused on illustrated portraits of the three main actresses, forming the French flag with their bodies. The illustration was then used as an art card included in the 4K Blu-ray box set. The box set was later awarded Best Packaging at the BASE Awards 2023

Malum

Welcome Villain

Malum is an indie horror feature film released in 2023. I had the opportunity to work on the design for the TV and social spot campaign. I had to adapt the style of our creative based on the supplied title treatment. The team managed to not be limited by the adaptation and found creative solutions and ideas to finalise this project.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage
of Harold Fry

eOne

This is a feature film adapted from a novel by the same name. The idea behind the social spot was to visually compare the film to the script, inspired by the Instagram page Screenplayed. The title treatment was supplied by the client, which we had to adapt. I had the chance to express my creativity with the use of split screens and transitions. The social spot was awarded at the Golden Trailer Award 2023
