MEET ME IN THE BATHROOM

Meet Me in the Bathroom is a documentary exploring the New York music scene of the early 2000s. I was responsible for designing and animating the main title treatment and title cards for the theatrical trailer. Initially, we approached the design with a maximalist punk aesthetic, inspired by Yeah Yeah Yeahs' visuals. However, at the client's request, we pivoted to a more minimalist approach, drawing inspiration from New York City metro design while retaining a cut-out animation style. The final trailer was awarded a Silver Promax in 2023.
